White Cliffs and Lighthouses Photography Workshop

£100

Total cost: £315 including lunch and refreshments. Group of 4.

The East Sussex coast, with its iconic chalk cliffs and rolling downs, is perhaps what foreigners first imagine when they think of the English countryside. Our workshop takes in some of the county’s finest landscapes. In recent years, this coastline has been the focus of Rachael’s own photography and she knows the best locations for all conditions. Our exact itinerary will vary depending on tides, weather and seasons but it is likely to include the magnificent cliffs of the Seven Sisters, Beachy Head and Birling Gap, lighthouses and, if the conditions look promising, there may even be a chance to capture some serious waves.

Description

PLEASE READ: This is one of our more strenuous workshops. You must be able to walk confidently with your gear for up to 20 minutes, including some walking at a gradient, and you will need to be able to cope with sand, rocks and shingle, some slippery terrain and possibly some wading (wellington boot height). The shingle may, depending on the weather, be steeply banked in places. If you are not sure whether it would be suitable for you, email us and we will discuss it in more detail.

You will need to get to the start of the workshop, on the East Sussex coast (exact location to be confirmed a few days before the workshop), under your own steam.  You will then have the choice of using your own car to drive between locations or coming in Rachael's car.

To secure your place on the workshop, we take an £100 deposit payable via PayPal now (no PayPal account needed). Please select the date from the dropdown menu above and click the 'add to basket' link. Four weeks before the workshop, we will require the balance, which is payable via Bank Transfer. You will receive instructions by email.
