Surrey is often said to be the most wooded county in England and bluebell season is one of the best times to enjoy and photograph its woodlands. Carpets of blue flourish against the vibrant backdrop of newly emerged beech leaves. Rachael has chosen a favourite location in the North Surrey Hills and will lead this morning workshop with a maximum of five participants. The workshop will run on location from 8-11am and then Rachael and any who want to join her will adjourn to the nearest café with outside service for some elevenses (not included) and a chance to review images. For a taste of what you might capture on this workshop, see Rachael’s blog here.
The woodland we will visit for this year's Bluebells workshop provides plenty of other subjects apart from the bluebells. In particular, it contains a number of unusual trees, spectacular bark patterns and some other wild flower species such as wood anemones and stitchwort. Come prepared to enjoy the bluebells but also keep an eye out for other opportunities.
This is not a particularly strenuous workshop and we are able to park reasonably close to the bluebells.
To secure your place on the workshop, please pay the full amount (£105) via PayPal now (no PayPal account needed). We will be in touch with further details after booking.
