Wednesday, 20th September 2017, 11.30am - 7.30pm TWO PLACES REMAINING
The East Sussex coast, with its iconic chalk cliffs and rolling downs, is perhaps what foreigners first imagine when they think of the English countryside. Our tour takes in some of the county’s finest landscapes. In recent years, this coastline has been the focus of Rachael’s own photography and she knows the best locations for all conditions. Our exact itinerary will vary depending on tides, weather and seasons but they are likely to include the magnificent cliffs of the Seven Sisters, Beachy Head and Birling Gap, at least two and possibly three lighthouses, Brighton’s ruined West Pier, a windmill and, if the conditions look promising, there may even be a chance to capture some serious waves.
This workshop is led by Rachael. It is slightly more strenuous than our other coastal tours and requires a moderate level of fitness, as there are a few stretches of walking at a gradient. If you are not sure whether it would be suitable for you, email us and we will discuss it in more detail.
You will need to get to the start of the tour, on the East Sussex coast (exact location to be confirmed a few days before the tour), under your own steam but then Rachael will drive the group around all day and return you to the start point at the end.
The cost of this workshop is £215 including lunch and refreshments. (Alcoholic drinks excluded.)
To secure your place on the workshop, we take an £80 Deposit payable now which you can pay by clicking the PayPal link below (no PayPal account needed).
Four weeks before the day of the workshop we require the balance of £135 which is payable via Bank Transfer. You will receive instructions by email once the deposit is received.
